Microdermabrasion
& Sonophoresis
The asap micro+ is a clinical grade machine that combines the benefits of both microdermabrasion and Sonophoresis. This treatment is suitable and recommended to be apart of anyone's skin care regime and assists with Opens pores, congested skin, acne-prone skin & superficial scarring, help to soften fine lines, help with un-even skin tone, improve blemishes, help to brighten and refresh the skin.
Microdermabrasion works with suction and diamond tip to exfoliate and remove dead cell build up and stimulate new cell growth. This procedure opens the pores after removing the dead cell build up, preparing the skin for Sonophoresis.
Sono is a non-invasive treatment that uses ultrasound-wave technology, along with the warmth and motion of the probe using energy too increase the depth at which the active ingredients are delivered to within the skin and be sure of maximum product penetration. There is minimal - no down time post this treatment.
Skin Peels
There are two different types of skin peels, one being a Resurfacing Peel and one being a Chemical Peel. They are some of the most effective treatments in targeting and improving skin concerns and conditions.
Resurfacing Peels
Are superficial exfoliating Peels. They work on the top layers of the skin, this doesn't require any down time or any visible shedding or peeling of the skin. Ingredients such as Lactic Acid, Essential Enzyme's, Glycolic are all very hydrating and stimulating on the skin. They are designed to help the overall function of the skin, increase cell turnover and target any superficial concerns.
Chemical Peels
Are a deeper exfoliation too the skin, they have the ability to reach lower into the levels of the skin to treat a wide variety of concerns. These treatments are active within the skin even after you leave the clinic, ensuring it delivers a stronger and the best possible outcome for you. Although this does mean, this treatment requires down-time with skin & after care recommended. You may have shedding of the skin, slight discoloration - depending on the concern being treated and erythema (reddening) of the skin for 3-10 days post this treatment. Each individual skin will vary.
LED Light Therapy
Extensive research has shown that energy delivered by LED will enhance the cellular metabolism quicker than our own natural process. It accelerates the healing process within the skin and helps stimulate the production of collagen and elastin. LED treatment is non-invasive, painless and is suitable for all skin types & concerns.
This treatment is perfect to have in conjunction with any other treatments our clinic offers, but is also very effective on its own. We recommend 5-8 sessions to provide a convincing, long lasting result, although benefits can be seen after the first treatment.
